Roof Inspection

You should have your roof inspected in the fall to prepare for winter. This is the time when you will have a short period (because temperatures are lower) to complete any maintenance that should be done before the snow arrives. We recommend an annual inspection. However, you can also schedule a roof inspection:

• When the roof is over ten years old: If your roof is more than ten years old, it's time to inspect it. This can be done by anyone who has experience in the roofing industry, but we recommend a certified professional;
• If you see signs of damage: Any sign of damage to your roof, whether it be torn shingles to loose flashing, is an indicator that it may need to be replaced soon; or
• If you've had recent storms: Storms can cause significant damage to a roof, so if you've recently had one, it's good to get it inspected sooner than later!
